As you can see, I traveled to New York City this past week with my
friend DeLayne. Nothing says "Converging" like the Big Apple - in terms
of people, cultures, traffic, and so many other ways. Even visually, you
see skyscrapers converging upwards and subway tunnels converging toward
a vanishing point in the distance.
My favorite example of this was the Brooklyn Bridge, with all of the supporting cables appearing to converge at a point near the American flag. It's nice that they have a pedestrian walkway above the speeding traffic so that one could concentrate on photography, and not on trying to avoid getting run over. -Cort
I like how the clouds in this photo seem to be converging on the horizon to help the sun set. -Dina
